Try www.rimfirecentral.com It's mainly rimfire guns and ammo, but alot of info is there. As far as other folks comments on this question, guns are a source of enjoyment for millions by simply target shooting. Not all guns are used for killing, that a rumor spread by those who are clueless.

No one wants to answer because this is a very sensitive subject. Guns are not for recreational use and if you have an interest, go to the library and read a book about them. So far all guns have done is disrupt and kill, create fear and hatred so anyone who wants that type of information will most likely not get it from this site. Guns don't kill, people kill with guns and after all the recent college and school and mall shootings, you might want to rethink your need to know anything at all about guns other than, if you are not in the military or law enforcement, you don't need a gun . What you need to know it just that simple.
