How can I maintain a 5 o'clock shadow?!

Question: I've done a bit of research, and it looks like a 5 o'clock shadow (light light facial hair) is 0.01 inches. Beard shavers usually only go as low as 0.04 inches.

What kind of razor, shaver, device do I need to maintain a 5 o'clock shadow all the time?

i just always use the longest setting (three settings on it, two are on the skin, one slightly raised) on my Braun electric.

but i don't have a ruler precise enough to measure how long it is.

completely understand wanting one always! lol, took me long enough to get facial hair, i want people to see! haha.

Hey Man,

I use a Braun electric shaver. It has a beard trimmer that pops up. When I'm in a hurry, I use that. The whole shave takes less than 2 minutes and it gives me a 5 o'clock shadow at...7:30 AM.

It goes without saying that in order to maintain a 5 o'clock shadow you must first have a 5 o'clock shadow. First, grow your beard out longer than "5 o'clock" aka "6 o'clock" then shave. Wait until it grows longer than "5 o'clock" and then shave again. You need use a razor that has multiple settings. Use the lowest setting so you dont shave off too much. Different razors have different settings. Always use the lowest setting that will cut the least amount of hair. Good Luck!
