Bleeding from the penis...?!
Question: Yesterday my partner and I were about to have intercourse when we noticed I was covered in blood, upon checking him we saw there was blood dripping out the end of his penis and wouldn't stop for about 10 mins. We know this isn't normal, and has never happened before. Does anyone got any ideas as to what it could be? He's going to the hospital after work today, but would like to get some ideas before then. Thanks x

there could be a lot of different causes.. most obvious he might have accidentally wounded it, maybe while trying to zip his fly, but infections could cause this whether is be a bladder infection or a STD (don't be foolish and rule it out just because you think he wouldn't cheat)
Kideny failure can cause blood in urine... although this doesn't sound like blood in his urine. Penis enhancing drugs have caused bleeding of the penis as well.. he may be taking them and you may not know.... I just saw this on a new clip the other day.... there are a variety of reasons, but when you go to the doc they will test for STDs , check his testicles for lumps and may order blood tests....

It might be a urine infection. That happens. But it also could be something more so Im glad he is going ot the hospital to have it checked out.
Maybe just a cut, or he may have been urinating too much.
He needs to go get tested, bleeding is a sign of a STD

Oops...that's gross and very severe...my uncle experienced that but he overcomed the operation.
kidney infection causes blood 2 *** outta penis,urine test will give the answer and some pills will clear it up
wtf???? never heard of that???? is it just blood? I would call a nurse at the hospital for ideas???maybe he should skip work and go now. unless it only happens during erection, even still I would not want to wait! but honeslty, some things should not be asked on here, that is something I would ask a pro,and as for the "prodical simpelton" below, he laughes, but karma will come back and his penis will rot off! I don't recall ever bleeding from the penis.
I had a cold or something down there as a kid, urinating was agony, I had to limit my drinking to a cup of water a day. It was the proverbial pissing razor blades. I didn't go to the doctor over it.
As an adult I once had the clap, discharging puss and pissing razor blades again but no blood that I remember.
sounds bad but it is good that he is going to get it checked out, could be a tear in his bladder which is bleeding or it could be well.. anything I have never heard of it before sorry, i'm sure he will be fine and it will be something easily sorted x
Could be a number of things....
Urine/kidney infection, a cut, a STI (but generally do not bleed for 10mins like that). I recon its something internal thats probably easily treated. He will need a thorough examination and maybe a camera up there to see whats going on. Good Luck i'm sure will all be fine x
He may have cut the frenulum (the frenulum is a Y shaped web of skin that connects the foreskin to the underside of the head of the penis). If its anything else I'm sure the hospital will know.
Sometimes a small tear in the frenulum can bleed alot. The frenulum connects the foreskin to the penis.
Is your partner uncircumcised?
Probably a UTI (water infection) or I hate tell you this but and STD.
Either way the hospital will sort it out am sure, especially as it only happend once.

my husband had that happen 2 him and also to his dad. it can happen if he has an infection, has knocked it or sorry to say could be the big C. go get it checked out. my husband hd just knocked it where as his dad found out it was cancer
this could be a STD / STI or it could be a urine infection or Kidney Stones or infection i would get it checked out ASAP as that shouldnt be happening
