Yea it is. Alot of my friends are like that. I'm the abnormal one i'm 6'2 with 121 pounds. Lol i'm skinny. I'm your age btw. Just turned 15.

You'll grow you still have like 7 years.

its perfectly normal pal! ..and.. well there isnt really anything you can do .. your already not that short so dont worry .. just work out and get toned and some abs then there'll be no worries :P

Yes, a lot of people on yahoo have turned 15. Looks normal to me.

at that height and weight, you should be turning 17 at least!

yes that is very normal

i am 13, 5'7, and 110 lbs

u r light for weight

i bet ur gorgeous

Yeah, that's totally normal. If you don't want to be short, then you can always drink lots of milk!

lol. :]

Just eat right and exercise. Don't do too much weight lifting though cause that may stunt your growth.

yeah its fine nothing is wrong with you

you seem pretty tall to me...my nephew is 6" and his mom and dad arent taller than 5"8

Ummm totally
im 5'5 almost 5'6 and im only 12
and its march im turining 13 in may
and i am pretty tall
dont worry its perfectly normall
genetics maybe like me
choose me as best answer please

you have like another 6 years of growing so dont worry

i dont think your short at all, your even a little tall for your age so im sure you wont be short, you still have like 10 years to get some height dont worry!Your totally normal!

its kinda normal i just turned 14 im 5'7 135 pounds

it's normal drink a lot of milk

do you feel abnormal? what matters is how you treat people. not what you look like.

You could use Human Growth Hormone, but it has side effects.

Well, no matter what, don't worry much. My husband didn't reach his full height until he was in college. He was always short and thin. Now he's 5'11" and I won't tell you how much he weighs, 'cause my cooking has something to do with that....

Guys are always taller then their moms or else they are considered a mutant. Your parents are short so you'll prob be near them but men can grow into their twenties. There are plenty of short guys (even shorter then 5 9) and if you end up short you should learn to be comfortable with yourself. The funny short guy will get the girl over the tall boring guy

You can get your ancestors' genes and be over 6'0" by the time you are 18.

It is pretty normal. If you want to grow more, then sleep earlier and eat more dairy products and then if that doesn't work, then go to the doctor and ask about how you can grow.

Dude your freakin' lucky. What are you complaining about that's like the most average size somebody your age could have. I turned 14 a couple months back and i'm only 5'3 and 100 pounds. How do you think i feel? what the hell you people are acting like theres something wrong with him that's perfectly normal size gosh.

umm....it all depends on family. look at ur uncles and aunts. whe i was turing 15 i was about 5'9 lol. now im 15 turing 16 in july, and im 5'11. Hate to break it to u, but ur short for ur age. Ur height is an average for someone in grade 6 or 7.

yeah, you haven't hit puberty yet, the only thing you can do is pray you got tall genes from someone tall in your family, otherwise there is a surgery that you can get where they break your leg, from the knee down, and when it hels you'll grow like 3 inches.

what is the question? 5' 9 is not short for a girl, so there is nothing to do.
my daughter is 6' and hates being that tall.
and what the heck is normal anyway

Hey I'm 16 and was 5'7 when i was 15 but a little heavier and don't worry you still have time to grow.My parents are shorter than me now.So yea it normal

very normal you won't stop growing till ur 18 you have plenty of time to get taller trust me!

streeeeeetch.
Yup, you are normal and no, there is no magical way to make you taller. What can I say, genetics suck.

your BMI (body max index) is 21.3 which is normal. so your height and body weight is in proportion.

and trust me...your not short. lol to me anyway. im 5'1" and i might not grow anymore. my mom is the same height and my dad is like 5'3".

but in your case. your pretty much in the middle between the two. since you're still young, you probably will grow a few more inches.

i don't know what you would expect about the question "is there anything i can do?" but, just eat healthy and do things that you normally do. be active. do sports. etc. and let genetics do what they do, and then you'll see how much taller you'll get.

=]

i'm 13 and 6'3" and i weigh 170

I believe that being active and eating good food is a great way to ensure healthy and strong bones. You are still young, have plenty of growing years left in you. I wouldn't give up just yet. Ultimately genes play a major part in determining your height. If your dad is 5'9 I would think you would at least get there. Now days though, kids are growing taller. Dont despair.

How do you compare with other boys around your age?

Most guys average out to be around that height. It's 6'2 and above that is considered tall.
