it's a little sore afterwards. But the op itself doesn't hurt. You won't feel like moving around much for a couple of days. But, after that, it should be OK
I heard that it doesn't hurt when it's being done. It's if you don't take precautions while you're recovering.
Some guys go out and do activities too soon and stress the scrotum. Then you'll have pain.

If you follow instructions, it hurts less than getting a tattoo. If you don't follow instructions, then it feels like getting kicked there. The instructions will clearly state, "don't lift anything".
I had mine done on a Friday, and was back to work on Monday. No it did not hurt.
Needless to say, I didn't lift anything, ride a bicycle, or anything else for about a week.
