When I go to the gym, is it a good idea to do cardio B4 I do weghts?!

Question: or the other way around or does it matter??

Answers: or the other way around or does it matter??

Yeah do cardio first plz b/c it pumps you up before weights

Run wind sprints to near exhaustion. Working the large leg muscles will up you testosterone before the main exercise. then you have that more testosterone flowing for the workout.

i usually hit the punching bag before lifting to get my cardio up because treadmills arent really my thing

It's the best thing to do. You shouldn't lift weights without getting thoroughly warmed up. Cardio is a super-good warm-up for all your muscles (yes even upper torso) and you need to do cardio anyway. So do it before.

yes

Of course, to warm up atleast.

Doing weights before cardio burns more calories during your cardio. Look it up if you don't believe me.

cardio helps you warm up and get loose for the workout i would suggest it but you can do it the way you want to I would also suggest stretching before weight lifting though so warm up stretch then weights

JHirsh above me is absolutely correct. Cardio after weights does burn more calories. Another way to get warm before lifting is to perform the action, such as a bench press, with significantly less weight than normal to get the blood flowing. If you're going to bench 200lbs today throw on 50lbs first just to get warmed up.

Generally speaking, I'd say no, though it depends on your goals.

If your goal is to increas muscle mass, burn calories and get fit ... No.

Do a light warmup including stretching, then hit the weights. Then do your cardio.

If you do cardio first, you will be tired and will not be able to lift as heavy, and will not be able to gain as much benefit from the weights. On the other hand, doing weights then treadmill or whatever is fine 'cardio' wise.

The only reason I'd really do cardio then weights would be if your goal was to improve muscle endurance (i.e. for wrestling or something). The goal of the weight lifting in that case would NOT be to improve strength/grow muscles, but rather to improve the muscles ability to keep working through exhaustion.
