What are the advantages and disadvantages of having Foreskin?!

Question: I honestly dont know

Answers: I honestly dont know

Advantages:
A fully functional penis retaining millions of nerve endings and what has now been proved to be the most sensitive parts of the penis in 15 square inches of erogenous tissue and specialised sensitive structures like the frenulum and ridged band.
Protection of the mucous membranes of the glans and inner foreskin, which dry out and develop thicker keratin layers after circumcision, lessening sensitivity as time progresses.
The gliding action of the foreskin that acts like lube when it slides on itself for masturbation and sex.
Some women report sex is gentler and more satisfying when their partner has a foreskin because he can feel more and so doesn't have to thrust as hard to feel enough to get enough stimulation.
Avoid complications of infant circumcision; like skin bridges, skin tags, painful erections or hair up the shaft from two much skin removed, meatal ulcers, bleeding, scarring or even death and necrotic loss of the penis. The complication rate has been deemed to be higher than the claimed benefits by every major medical organization in the world.
Having the choice to change if you don't like it. I am circumcised and hate the choice my parents made for me.

Disadvantages:
Ignorant twits like one of the foreskin-hating posters here.
A very small risk of having a (tight foreskin) phimosis problem that is not easily fixed. Nearly all phimosis is easily fixed with stretching and steroid cream.
There is an even smaller risk of paraphimosis but this is one of the few real things to look out for. It can generally stopped by squeezing the head to get the blood out an easing the foreskin forward again.
Untrue claims of disadvantage:
The claimed benefits of circumcision are a beat up (based on flawed studies) and don't really exist but the risks outweigh all the claims made by the pro-circumcision camp. One by one the claims are disproved but the pro-cutting zealots come up with more and keep quoting the old ones despite the evidence against them. For example you have more chance of dying from a circumcision than from penile cancer. The rate of penile cancer is higher in the largely-circumcised USA than in European countries where less than 1% of the male population is circumcised.
The current calims of HIV protection advantage are based soley on flawed studies done in Africa. Attempts to show protection from HIV infection in the west have proved fruitless as far as the pro-circumcision zealots are concerned.
A recent study has show that there is no significant difference in STD rates between circumcised and intact males, based on a cohort of males followed from birth to age 32 in New Zealand.

Sensitivity for the male, when the helmets gone it becomes less sensitive which can be a bonus for the female as it takes longer for the male to achieve his goal!

girls like to pull on the foreskin with their teeth. disadvantages...it looks kinda weird lol

Advantages - you don't have to wash it as often.
Disadvantages - less sensentive, dryness, harder to masturbate, zipper burns, chopshop job.

an advantage is that its more sensitive, so it feels better during sex.

but a disadvantage is that you have to clean it (but cleaning it is easy, its no different or harded than cleaning your arm)

I hate foreskins!

Advantages
1. More sensitive. When you get circumcised, you lose half or more of the nerves in your penis. Moreover, the head of the penis keritinizes (which means the skin gets tougher like the bottom of your feet) since it gets rubbed all the time.
2. Less need for lubrication. The foreskin makes it easier to slide back and forth. For example, you can more easily masturbate without any lubrication since the foreskin slides with you.
3. No post-operative risks involved in circumcision. You don't have to get the scar line and also don't have to risk getting an infection or the surgeon accidentally messing up.
4. Natural. It's how great majority of men in the world are and have been for hundreds of thousands of years.

Disadvantages
1. Easier to keep things clean. Although if you take a shower daily, this shouldn't be a problem.
2. Reduced HIV risk. There was large studies done in Africa that uncircumcised men have higher risk of infection presumably since the foreskin could help to "hold in" virus particles. Of course, you should use a condom nonetheless.
3. In the US, many are accustomed to and prefer a circumcised penis. Almost every male got circumcised in the US just 50 years ago, but these days, less than 40% of boys get circumcised. Also note that US is among the only countries in the world that regularly practice circumcision for non-religious reasons.

Advantage is it is easier to stroke off. You don't need to use any lube, just stroke it back and forth till it blows its top. I see no disadvantage to not have foreskin. You can squirt just as quick or even quicker.

Having had a foreskin until early adulthood, until I was circumcised, I recall no advantages and I have no regrets at all about my circumcision. Personal hygiene is so much easier, I have more staying power during intercourse and last but by no means least, most women do prefer their man to be circumcised. It is a matter of personal choice and in the last analysis it is up to what you, yourself , would be comfortable with.

there are no advantages of having foreskin. it's nasty and very unappealing.

you get to feel like a true man

The only real disadvantages are that it can cause problems in those individuals where it is too tight. Also it can act as a site for infection, especially if it is not cleaned properly and frequently. Removal produces a small reduction in sensitivity.

As someone who has lost their's for medical reasons I can say that there are only advantages unless you have real problems with phimosis or something similar. I can only compare it to an eyelid. Can you imagine what it would be like if your eyelid was removed? If you have one keep it at all costs.

More hygienic without.
