I feel the procedure is wonderful if the man is positive he wants no more children. I had my tubes tied and before the surgery the dr said that is was easier for my husband to have the vasectomy, i told the doc that my choice is no more children and if I were no longer with my husband for any reason I still don't want any more children. I think that it is a personal choice but should be thought out carefully.
A vasectomy is the kindest thing a man can do for his wife.

Yes!! 100%, I'm 23 (no kids) and i got a vasectomy about 7 months ago. Some doctors require proof that you have children if your under 35 when the prosedure is done. I lied on it and said i had 2. He dident ask for any proof. I honestly like children, I mean I'll take care of my friends kids or something when they go out of town or want to go out and party or something. But i dont want children of my own, I know i couldent give it a good life so i rather just not risk it.
