Question: get a physical when he moves here? He hasn't had one since he was in 9th grade, other than having his asthma checked. What do you think? He's going to be 23 in May and other than his asthma, seems pretty healthy...

He should get a physical once a year. There are many serious health problems with no symptoms at all such as: high blood pressure, diabetes and heart problems. Urge him to get a check-up.

He still should have a physical just to make sure everything is working and operating correctly. Some things may go undetected until people have a physical.
yes hes 23 already..guys are almost like girls..just like we gotta get checked..so do they..its the safest thing..but thats just my opinion
As a medical student, that's an awful long time since he's had a physical. Best to get a general check up and let the doctor know how long it's been since his last physical. Also, it would be a good idea to have him bring to his appointment any meds and supplements he's been taking, as meds give the doctors a good idea of the patient's health status and/or concerns. It's a safe thing for your boyfriend to do, best to get screened and catch anything early considering health risks you may be taking albeit, some may be low, but who wants to deal with the consequences?
I think you both should have a sexual health check, its not one sided then.
