Is there a Yahoo Answers for for adutls over 40?!

Question: For example, in the men's health section I aventure myself in reading some posts and find nothing but a bunch of little boys asking the same questions over and over. I trust that it would be much more enriching for all groups to exercise intelligence in postings. In fact it this sort of ignorance that sometimes keeps me away from coming into yahoo answers!

no. and it is annoying.
worst are the 13 year old girls asking questions about having sex. i dont mean first time, i mean how to make it better. yahoo insists that adults talk to children about sex. in this world of perverts attacking children online, yahoo forces us to talk to them.

No there is not and YA welcomes and does implement suggestions from users. This would be a good thing to suggest! The best thing to do in the meantime is become extremely familiar with the YA code of conduct under the blue highligted "Community Guidelines" found to the left of your original question and begin to report violations of this code to YA. In this way both questions and answers that are violations of the boudaries of decency and YA's rules get deleted and the habitual offenders eventually get weeded out.
One caveat, however, false reporting lowers the reporter's credibility and YA will, over time take action against them as well.

I wish there was, it can be very irritating when you log on to find a bunch of kids.

Frank has a very valid point. As for me, I would love to find a section devoted to "mature" audiences & not have to wade through all of the teenage babbling & hormone-driven drool they post every day (both male & female). No, don't let it prevent you from coming on here, because they need our advice: "to learn from the experts" (since in most cases they won't listen or even make an attempt to talk to their parents about their problems).

It is natural for young people to ask questions that are not as well informed because they are not as educated yet in understanding health issues. This is why it is important for them to receive a good education and push children to learn. They would know more and could ask better, more mature and educated questions.

Also, sometimes it is a maturation process that is going on. When kids go through their teen years, they are going through the changes of puberty and their hormones are generally running things. They have to sometimes mature as far as growing up a little bit to understand.

Well their questions are just as valid, even if they are repetitive. We 40+ year olds will get mighty sick of discussing viagra and testosterone levels.

You needn't answer 13 year old girls questions about sex in a way that their parents would object to. Up to you... nobody's forced to answer their questions.

if you have a question that requires a mature response, please feel free to drop me a line and i'll give it my best shot.
