Question: I first met this guy three years ago. he was playing basketball and I was walking around joking and talking with a friend. I turned around and he was staring at me. it was really weird, I've never had a guy look at me that way before. it was like a deep stare. he did it the whole night and when I raced this guy he cheered me on, he was really loud. I lost but it was still a lot of fun competing.
anyway, next time he saw me was because his friend was pointing to me and telling him he liked me. he would stare at me like that all of the time. except now I'm antisocial and a little depressed, I'm trying to figure out who I want to be. it's been two years and he still stares at me like that.

He wants your attention.usually when a guy stares at a women it means we want your attention and you need to smile or talk to us!

Looking you in the eye, smiling, being friendly is all part of flirting and trying to figure out if you like someone. Even if he does like you, he may not be willing to act on his feelings. Maybe he sees the depression in you and staying away.
