Question: How do I stop circular thinking? when I wait too long to eat something(I've got diabetes 2)I get a lot of 'unwanted thoughts and repeating thots, over and over and over like a 'broken record. just wondered how to 'correct this problem?

Thoughts always come one after the other. There are various ways to stop them.
Step1.Whenever the thoughts come just think that it has come and gone. Do not think about the thoughts.
step2.Always be occupied in your work.Read some good books.
Step3.Deep breathing releives bad thoughts.Whenever the thoughts come just breath deeply for 5-10 times.
step4.Do not over sleep. Just have enough sleep only. Then the mind will be tranquil.
Step5.Whenever the thoughts come in chain one after the other just tell mentally GO.

By repeated practice the thoughts will stop coming.

Practice yoga and meditation and see if it works.
If you want to take a supplement to help you out I would strongly recommend GABA, found in any health food store. It's designed especifically to stop racing thoughts.
