Is it necessary for all guys to have circumcision for hygiene purposes?!

Question: Not only unnecessary, but potentially harmful!

And no, sex feels better for both guy and girl when the guy is uncut, according to studies.

Absolutely not! Wherever did you get that idea? 70% of men in the world are not circumcised and just fine!

No but it is necessary if the man is Jewish.

I accidently cut my dick and it hurt.

Not really, though a circumcision makes keeping it clean a lot easier. If a guy just pays extra attention to keeping it clean he doesn't need to have a circumcision.

nope

Here in the UK men don't get routinely circumcised. As long as they still give themselves a good wash (which they should be doing circumcised or not) they are nice and clean :)

Jess

Apparently not. It's probably just a matter of looks.

It's necessary to BATHE for hygene purposes. It's never necessary to have a circumcision.

It is cleaner and more hygienic but whether that makes it necessary is up to debate. Obviously uncircumcised guys can keep themselves clean with thorough washing but sometimes one doesn't always have those options. Being circumcised simply prevents so many problems and complications that it is a smart idea.

No, but I think circumsized looks better

No, more than half the world is not circumsized. Aside from the US, Philipines and Israel, most countries have a higher population of people who are not circumsized. The thing is, if the male learns how to clean oneself, there's really no difference between hygiene between someone who is and who isn't.

Um, that's a big fat NO! Most guys in the world (about 80%)are not circumcised. It's only common in the United States and among Jewish and Muslim populations. If you go to Europe, you'll find that circumcision is rather rare and the average Brit, Frenchman, German and Russian are uncircumcised. Even in north American, circumcision is rather rare in Mexico, Canada and on the west coast of the United States. Most guys who practice good (normal) hygene don't ever have a problem with their penis. That is only a myth prepetuated by the pro circumcision minority for the last few decades. Fortunetly, it's mostly been debunked in the last few years, but tons of people (particulalry in the US) still seem to believe it. Circumcision was actually popularized in the 1800's as a cure for masturbation. Since then, doctors have come up will all sorts of justifications to keep it around thus making it more of an American tradition more than anything else. Anyone else in the world that practices male circumcision does so for religious reasons.

Of course not! Only about 15% of the world's men are circumsized.

The answer to your question is 'NO'.
I understand that many people prefer to be circumcised or prefer circumcised men for aesthetic reasons, and that's all and good. I don't criticize anyone who decides to get circumcised because they feel it is going to look better and will make the man feel more appealling to certain women, it is everybody's right to choose what they do with their body.
But to say that the main reason for men to "have" to get circumcised is "Hygiene" would be very irresponsible and inaccurate.
As many others have mentioned here, there are far more uncircumcised men in the world than there are circumcised, and the fact of the matter is that hygiene is a very important part of many people's lives.....including women.
I am uncircumcised and have never had any hygiene issues or infections or diseases....ever! I was taught the proper way to clean and have always held true to proper cleanliness.
There aer plenty of uncircumcised, I am certain, that don't practice proper or regular hygiene regiment, and at the same time, there are plenty of circumcised men who may not be very clean themselves.......it is not a matter of cutting someone's skin to be clean; it is a matter of practicing a good hygiene at all times.
If it were about hygiene, then we should take women into consideration.
It is a known fact that women have to maintain a more rigorous hygiene regiment than men, however, no one would ever dare suggest that women have their labias cut off for hygiene purposes.....why not, because the labia have a purpose for existing, just as the foreskin has a reason for existing.
So again.....I say that hygiene is not a reason to demand that all men be circumcised. Teaching a boy how to properly wash himself, just as a girl is taught how to wash herself will always take care of the issue.
Best of Luck!
