How could i help my bf not lose his erection and have him wear a condom?!

Question: I need help... everytime my boyfriend and i want to have sex, its a tug of war with the condom issue...Everytime he wears one he ends up loosing his erection (but he performs good without it) i have tried many things, such as putting the condom with my mouth , oral sex while putting the condom... you name it but it keeps happening. Is it normal? i dont want to get pregnant and although i know he withdraws before ejaculating i have that in the back of my head. I am on the pill but still... Could he be allergic to latex or the condom too big or small? should we get a ring or something to help him ... i need help and advice... is it me or him?

You would know if he had an allergic reaction because there would be a rash etc. More likely (I have the same problem) that the condom takes away most of the sensation so putting it on feels like crap.

You should experiment with other brands of condoms to find one that is more sensitive or provides more sensation.

You could try a ring, but the only reason this works is because it feels awesome, and he might fire early as a result.

ya dude

ummm... not too manly, huh?
ummm i don't know, doctor? or it just turns him off, i don't know why because you put it on for him sometimes...

You might want to try wearing a diaphram, this will allow him to not have to wear a condom and he can still pull out. This may be the answer to your problem.

Even though you are on the pill ..it is NOT 100% effective . The condom is a little added protection .

I think the loosing his erection thing is just in his head ..the one on his shoulders .... Keep using the condom and with practice; your boyfriend will learn to maintain his erection ...

it's all in his probably but don't give in .... it's not about getting preg it's a STD matter tell him to forget the P if he don't wear it and he will get over it quick

Sounds like the condom is a turn off to him. Do you actually see that he loses his erection or is he just telling you that he will lose it? You can try a vibrating ring, which will be pleasurable for both of you. BTW-a penis leaks semen before ejaculation. So, just because he pulls out doesn't mean there is no semen in your vagina. It sounds a bit like he just doesn't want to wear a condom. If really does lose his erection, you might want to tell him to see a doctor.

Let him hang out for sex for a little while, maybe he will miss it so much that his erection will hold.
Just a thought !

have him masturbate with it on so he gets use to it because its not as good with one.

I really don't know, may he is not use to it. better ask a doctor about it.

I also am like your bf. As soon as I put one on, I lose my erection and that's it for the night. Hard to explain but it's like trying to put on a pair of pantyhose while wearing boxing gloves. I mean, after awhile you'll say the heck with it. Wearing a condom for some men is just like saying no sex tonight. If you are on the pill and he withdrawls before he ejaculates, then the chances are you won't get pregnant. The only thing I can recommend is to let him have sex without the condom. Another option is to use the female condom which is available at any drugstore. Anything as long as he doesn't have to strangle his manhood with a rubber band.
