Question: I'm 23 and dated this 37 year old guy who took a couple classes with me in college (I barely remembered him).
Anyhow, I guess he was stalking my facebook page because about a week after my relationship status changed to "Single" (broke up with boyfriend) he was messaging me saying he wanted to get a cup of coffee.
We went out on about 8 dates. He never tried to kiss me and I got the "friend hug" like twice. Then I just stopped hearing from him.
People always say he must have gotten upset because I didn't give him sex, but he never "made a move". So I have to assume he just wasn't that into me or the age thing might have gotten to him, right?

You are probably right. It could be the sex thing though. In which case if he expected that you would just spontaneously rip off your clothes and jump his bones, it is still no big loss on your part. Next time if I were you I would just pass on going out with creepy, older, stalker guys.

If I was truly with you for the relationship purposes and really wanted to give us a chance at a future then no I would not!!!....... Their is more to life than just sex.... No offense to you but maybe after he got the chance to date you maybe you just didn't turn out to be the person he thought you was.......... Just trying to give you something to think about....
Maybe he was extremly shy and needed you to make a move.. I understand he contacted you first, but some guys have the guts to do that but not the guts to take it any further.

The maximum amount of time I will wait is 3 months, and thats if I want a long term relationship, if I just wanted a few girlfriends here and there I wouldnt wait that long, but in a relationship, yeah like 3 months.
It wasn't the age thing. He just wasn't that into you. Maybe he just needed a pal for a time. That would be my guess.
