Question: My boyfriend ejaculates pre-maturely a lot and I was wondering if this is common/ normal? Why do guys do this? Are guys able to control this?

The main point of concern as far as premature ejaculation is concerned is don't worry too much as stress will make it more prevalent.
Being sexually active for over 14 years i have had this problem in the past and found a few ways to prolong intercourse so here are a few suggestions......
Make sure you are both comfortable and relaxed, both mentally and physically. If you are physically comfortable then this can increase sensuality without necessarily increasing stimulation and mentally is probably more important. If a guy is worried that he is not going to perform to standard then he is already convinced himself that he will fail.
Next is my favorite, foreplay....
When it comes to guys, most only want to be stimulated around the genital area but this can lead to him getting over excited, try different places with different types of touch like tickling, kissing, biting or sucking, he will be surprised what makes him squirm and you can learn some tricks as well. Ladies on the other hand are usually more sensitive when it comes to touch, being that direct stimulation is not always the preferred method. Some girls do like it but in my previous experience it usually isn't what they want. As well as this ladies usually take a little longer to 'warm up' so take your time. If you can use this time to diminish his excitement a little as this will help prolong intercourse. Take this time to not only enjoy each others bodies but learn and always tell your partner what you do and don't like.
When it comes to 'doing the deed' it becomes a little more complicated, and depending on a few factors it can be a different game all the time. The main problem at this point is stimulation, not only of the genitals but other forms of stimuli including visual and aural can make him more 'excited' and can lead to this problem. Also make sure everything gets loose and slippery down there as this will reduce friction and hence reducing sensitivity in certain areas.
Using these steps i have found that even at the peak of my problem i could stretch it out for a good 5-10 minutes longer than before trying these things, give it a try and if it doesn't work then keep trying different things.
Unfortunately most guys are unable to control the timing of there ejaculation but with practice and a little relaxing you should find improvement.

do you men he ejaculates before you even have sex or just before you get off? because a lot of guys get off before a girl. its pretty common since it doesnt take much to get them off. but if you want to make sex last longer have him jack off or get him off before you have sex and then wait 20-30minutes and he'll be able to go longer after that.
Pre-mature ejaculation is normal it is to do with oversensitivity of the penis. NO they are unable to control this. You should skip foreplay and ensure he is relaxed and he should wear two condoms to reduce this from happening.
