How am I suppose to check for testicular cancer if I don't know what a lump !
Question: I feel almost like a hard "line" along my testicle and I'm ot sure whether this is a lump or part of the "cup" where the testicle meets. How big is a lump, is it 1mm or is it closer to being 1/2cm? I have no idea

When you are in a hot shower or even better a hot bath gently roll each nut in your fingers. If you feel anything larger than a pea then check it on a weekly basis. Do not panic. If it grows get to a doc right away. If it changes but doesn't go away get to the doc NOW ! if it goes away don't worry about it. But every guy should check himself every week. every girls should check her breast pretty much the same way. Even if you are young. It is rare for young people to have serious problems but it can happen and early detection is the best way to stop a small problem before it gets unstoppable I wonder if I.P. Freely eats yellow snow?

The best thing to do is to get a physical from a doctor in which he will check you over from head to toe including checking your scrotum for lumps. Assuming he finds nothing then you know that you are in the clear and that whatever you are feeling right after the exam is normal you can use that as a baseline for future exams. Now if you do a future exam and feel anything different you will know and can tell your doctor about it and he can check it out further. This is how women check their breasts for lumps; it may not seem very scientific but it does work. Tip: Try keeping a regular schedule, check on the 1st of the month every month so that you notice irregularities.
