well i like to have a clean penis. when you pull out of a condom theres oily stuff and semen, which i like to wash off thoroughly. he probably just has a huge mess to clean up and is sparing your sheets by going into the bathroom to take it off.
i have never heard of anyone taking 10 minutes just to take it off. Maybe he is just extra cautious when removing it.
