Am I lactating?!

Question: First off, I'm a male. Ew, gross, yeah yeah, if you're not mature enough to read this then please don't bother responding.

The story goes, several years ago when I was about 18 I suppose(I'm 22 this year), I was reading a lot about lactation. Well just out of curiousity, I squeezed my nipple and after a bit of manual labor, I got some kind white watery bud of liquid on the surface of my nipple(not the aerola, the very tip). I can't tell if it's milk or puss, since it's such a small amount. I can say that I have unusually high estrogen levels for a male, my body is very feminine and I do have small breasts despite not being overweight. Is there anyway to tell the difference between milk and puss?

It is probably not lactation, since that requires consistent nipple stimulation for a very long time (72 hours) to happen. It's more likely that the fluid you saw was lymph from damaging the tissues there.

HOWEVER! Men CAN get breast cancer, and nipple discharge is one of the signs. If this was a one-time incident, it's probably nothing to worry about. If it's a consistent issue, GO SEE A DOCTOR.

Also, JM is wrong - men CAN produce milk. Men have the exact same milk-producing glands as women do; it only requires the right hormones to make them start working. One of the ways to make your pituitary start releasing the prolactin hormone is to stimulate your nipples continuously for 72 hours. That's a pretty tall order; I don't know how a person could manage that, but it DOES work on men equally as well as on women.

Its most likely not milk and it is not puss..........

If it was puss you would know it by its smell and also it would be very tender and hurt alot..........

It is also not Milk, as Males don't produce milk............this is a female thing only..........

It is most likely just moisture (water or sweat) from your pores.......all of your pores carry a certain amount of fluid to keep active..........

Stop worrying about it and everything will be Normal........

Why are you squeezing your Nipples anyhow?????

Take Care and Have Fun.............

why are you wasting your time squeezing ur nipples??!!

You must be really bored...

<<--- thinks you should put it in cereal!! or taste it yum!! well man i am playin about all that to try and make you think its not that big of a deal i tried it and seen the same stuff lmao! its good thing you didn't do anything stupid for me to try lol! no all jokes aside dude i have both my nipples pierced and i can squeeze the both and a zit looking stuff very very small amount just enough to see it! but me as a gay man do know some transsexuals and drag queens! and they take something very common that is for women and they have breasts growing like girls dude big hooters lol! i wont say what it is they take because there would be someone take it just to see what would happen or give it to a guy friend as a cruel joke!! but most or all young girls or ladies will or have taken it!! back to the chicks with di-k$ most if not all of them can lactate i seen one squirt her milk about 2-3 feet once i swear dude i know that is a sick a$$ thought but i am honestly telling you i seen it right in front of my eyes! but they have breast milk im sure it is allot like a womens man but i don't think it would be safe or right for a baby.. but i have seen a guy with breast milk!! and it wasn't at a circus or the freaks at a carnival lmao! but i have seen it in guys in the change of being ladies dude it wouldn't surprise me if we could! the difference between the milk and the puss would be ...well there `s was like liquid like milk in a glass.. and the stuff that came out of mine when i squeezed mine just now...was white like a zit, and then it was water which is what most of our skin is made of anyways thats why they tell us to drink lots of water man!! but i hope i helped you out man peace out xjason17x
