Health Problem-Why do I have steam coming from my poop and is it something that !
Question: well I have noticed whenever I go do number 2 and it comes out and I look down and I see steam coming out the toilet,there have been other times when I have stood up and just looked at it for a couple of seconds and you know like when you have a cigarette just sitting in the ashtray and the smoke is going up into the air anyway I have learned that the stuff that comes out of my poop has a bad smell and other times it smells like a babies diaper and stuff, I was just wondering should I be concerned because I have noticed that I am starting to drink water more and more.

First of all, you may have two things going on here. Let's address the increase of water. You may be pre-diabetic. You will need to see you dr. who will do a simple finger stick and monitor you.
Second of all, the poop. Poop leaves your body at your core body temperature. In other words, if you're 98.6, so is your poop. If it hits a cold bowl, water or chemical in the water, it can cause steam. If you use toilet bowel deodorizers (like the blue stuff), sometimes the waste can react with the chemicals in the deodorizers. The poop (and don't go getting all grossed out) is kind like blowing steam on a cold day when you exhale. The exhale is leaving your body (like the poop) at body core temperature.
I would really see my doctor about the increase of water and thirst though. Caught early, diabetes can be controlled with diet and exercise. Please make an appt. as soon as possible. Good luck.

If it's cold in your house you will see steam because your body temperture is more warmer. It's like fog warm hit cool / cool hit warm.
