Yes, sometimes it is caused by an irritation of soap or strong shower gel products etc if it disagrees with you, and sometimes heat, if you are hot and sweaty, this doesnt mean you are dirty, you can wash and keep clean but if your body is hot, then it is hot!!!
Otherwise use a bit of sudocreme. It is a nappy cream but I can tell you and who ever else reads this it is a brillian answer to many problems. it sooths and is an antiseptic.
