thats weird, it usually doesnt itch if you just trim, but itches if you shave, maybe you trimmed too short or maybe you didnt' clean up good and have trimmed hairs in the area. take a shower
You probably got a little too close when you trimmed ... Might I suggest that you apply a body lotion with aloe to that area ... it should help ...
It usually should not itch if its just trimmed. I shave mine fully off, i feel that girls like it better but that depends on your preference. But it itches because the hair is growing back.

Well, make sure the scissors are clean, have a shower before hand to make the hairs easier to cut, and you can also mousturise it after. That'll definately make sure it doesnt itch
