Voice Changing?!

Question: When your voice is changing, do you get a cold that is just in your throat that makes it full of phlegm? When I talk, I have to clear my throat, and I cough all the time. There is no sign of letting up and I have had it for about two weeks! Help, ten points to the person who gives the best answer!

mmm... i can assure you that it is NOT ball dropping!... I'm not an expert but i think its just because that you don't talk that much that your mouth gets use to not swallowing much saliva, and so that it will stay sitting on the back of your throat.
OR maybe its because that you're not drinking enough water that you throat dries up and it makes it harder for the saliva to slide down, so it will just stay sitting on the back of your throat and build up like a phlegm.

drink plenty of water (8 glasses a day) and if that doesn't help try Robitossin or benotryl

balls dropping, happens during puberty. I seen your only 13 so you are going threw puberty don't panic too much it happens to all boys becoming men. you don't have a cold coming it will sometimes feel like you have a frog in you throat and you will go all crokey and have a lot of phlegm but that's all part to do with your voice changing and getting deeper!. Don't let people at school laugh just tell them your becoming a man before them :D Congrats on becoming a man :D

Ummm okay....if you are not sick and your voice is getting lower.....it means uh...your b@lls are dropping....sorry...I dont know what else to say. This is just what I've heard.

no i dont think so. when your voice changes it just changes little by little. you shouldnt get sick by it. your just sick and prob need to go get some meds from the dr. dont freak out though no biggie just a cold. ~goog luck~

Voice changing or breaking can affect different boys in different ways, to some it happens over night, to others they go through a living hell :o)

My voice has changed but I don't remember having any problem with phlegm in my throat. It might just be a coincidence. If you don't have any other problems, I would give it a little more time and see if it clears up.

I am a guy, and Luka is quite common MALE name in Croatia... By the way... voice changing, that is quite normal, but that phlegm... OK, that
