It is best to feel naked or at least unconstricted. I often sleep naked in my own house with no odd people walking around it but since I am rarely there I tend to wear some loose cotton shorts by Calvin Klein, designed for wearing in bed.
Grabbing my crutches to go to the kitchen means needing to wear them in the first place to be acceptable to strangers.
I once woke up in a strange house in the living room with some bloke walking around naked and I found it a bit awkward.
