It certainly helps, I'll tell you that. As a pretty confident guy myself, I hate girls that are overly sensitive and insecure. Of course you do not want to cross that line of being cocky, or bitchy, which if detected will turn most guys off immediately.
Confidence doesn't mean bragging, or being in your face about it. Don't take yourself too seriously, be able to joke and flirt around. It has to be natural confidence though, if you are unhappy with certain areas of your appearance, work on them, or just flaunt your best assets. Certainly though, the better you carry yourself, and the sooner that you quit worrying about intricate things, guys will begin to notice. We're not a complicated species, trust me.

Everyone loves confidence in another person. But if you are overly confident it will be mistaken for attitude, stand-offishness, b*tchiness.
not really, just be a great person,the confident girls i know always come across as bitchy and self important, i hate that. Just be funny and fun to be around.
sure ! but only on moderate level or else it would such a huge mistake to humiliate guys and less impression.
I am a shy guy overall, so a confident girl can surely impress me and get close to me. As for what makes me interested in girls is 4 things: eyes and the way she looks around, ***, legs, and her way of movement! (most guys should agree with me!) Big boobs is something that I strongly don't like, especially in slim girls :)

I love it when a girl is confident in herself so I know she won't be try to act like someone she isn't. It would be like I was dating someone that isn't her.
