Teenage Circumcision??!
Question: Why in the world would a 15 year old boy in the US have a circumcision? He is Native American, but I think Muscogee so I wouldn't think it would be a "rite of passage" thing. He is my little sister's bf. He told her that his mom is making him, that just sounds wierd.

Many guys have asked questions here at YA about having circumcision done. Many say it's for medical and/or physical reasons. Also, the procedure isn't always a total removal of the foreskin, but an alteration so that the foreskin retracts properly as some don't develop properly.
Could be health or medical problems or maybe mom is kinky
usually, if a kid is circ'd, it's because he either has a tight foreskin or some other medical problem, or it's for cosmetic reasons. In a very few cases, a parent will absolutely insist that it occurs.

At that age he will have to be put in the hospital.
There is no reason for it, at all-unless your lil sis dosen't like the 'look" of his you-know!! noone in my family has ever circumsized our baby boys-if they are clean...there's just NO reason for it!!!Also, UNcircumsized men have a little more 'room" for "excitement", if you know what I mean-she should tell him that, maybe he'd change his mind! Also, it's more sensitive and pleasurable (I've heard..lol) for intact men.
Maybe it wasn't really circumsicsion. He might have just got a little nick to make the end of his foreskin wider so he could retract it fully. That could be an outpatient procedure with a minimum of pain.

You should try to stay aloof from the ins and outs of teenage courtship ritual. Don't even get involved. May be he did and is still medicated against any pain.... maybe he didn't.
People get circumscised sometiems for medical reasons, for example a severe case of phimosa... other times it is for religious reasons.. maybe he is a muslim native american for instance... in any case, it's no business of yours.. so you should simply say to your daughter.. "that's nice dear"
there are a lot of people who get them at that age.
but i doubt its the mom that wants it for him.
um... to not be sore or discomforted.... he could have some anesthesia gel and bandaging or something. and taken painkillers.
I was circumcised 18 and drove home right after the fact! Was done on a Friday and back in class on Monday. Really no big deal! It is much healthier and cleaner and improves sex!
