Swollen Anus or Something Worse?!

Question: I'm a 19 year old heterosexual male who is not sexually active. About 3 days ago now I was taking a shower and decided to masturbate. I grabbed a pair of rubber gloves and decided to try a little anal play. I grabbed the bottle of Axe shower gel and used this to lubricate my gloved hand. I then proceeded to insert my middle finger into my anus. I got appx. 1/2 and inch to an inch inside and decided that I didn't like the sensation so I ceased the anal play and continued to masturbate normally. Later on that day I noticed a pain around my anus but I figured it was maybe just sore from a previous bowel movement. The next day I showered again and while cleaning the area around my anus I felt something strange like a bump. I've had this pain for the past day or so now. I was just wiping myself after another BM and the bump is still there and it still hurts. It feels as though my anus might be swollen. Is this a big problem or will it dissipate soon? Is there anything I can do?

Well, it could be a haemorrhoid, (piles.) The anus and bowel are delicate and vascular and not really intended to have things inserted into it! If during your play you irritated this vascular area, you may have damaged a small blood vessel and this leads it to become sore and engorged....that is a haemorrhoid.
Does it feel as though the bump is protruding from the anus? In that case it probably is. Try Preperation H available in most supermarkets these days.

However, if after treatment and about a week, it still feels sore, you may have actually damaged the lining of the anus and caused a fissure (crack) and this has become infected. In this case, seek medical assistance. You don't have to tell him what you were up to (!) fissures are fairly common!

You will be fine, don't worry. Me and my girlfriend used to have anal play and its a natural reaction.

you may have ruptured something.

It sounds like it might be a hemorroid. The best thing I can say to do would be to get some hemorroid cream and see if that helps relieve some of the pressure. If not, obviously, seek a doctor.

Its a hemorrhoid. Use the medicine for it and it should go away in a day or so.

Rubber gloves, huh?

it was a hemroid.
get preprationH at a drug store

its normal.
it should go away by itself.
