How do I excercise to lose fat but retain muscle?!

So cardio excercises. Such as sprinting, running, swimming and rowing. Rowing is a good way of loosing weight as well as toning muscles since it uses your whole body. Do that every day or other day. To maintain muscle you can do weights every week. But you shouldn't loose it.
what im gonna do is prolly run around something like a track or pond in a sweater and sweat it all off unless i find something better
I think do YOGA & jog as well. Take healthy vegetarian food.
