Question: i mean for sex? i dont have sex too often with my wife but when we do she is in pain and always asks me to insert very slowly, which is ok for a while but i want to go really quickly often but she is in pain. we often use lubrication but still it takes ages before she is "wide enough" for me to enter. once i achieve a hard on i obviously want to keep it and enter so it can be frustrated, all this makes sex not so great and the possibility of a quicky in the morning not feasible. any ideas how it can improve? my friends have seen my member a couple of times and i have the reputation of having a giant knob so what can i do?

jeez..... havn't you ever heard of foreplay, go down on her first and you lubricate her for enough time till she is gagging for it, only then is the right time to slip it in, spend half an hour if you have to to make her happy, your causing her pain is also causing her further anxiety which makes it more difficult for her to "open up", your size is not the problem, your selfishness is.
You are obviously not arousing enough for a "quicky" so don't flatter yourself and get to work on her before she starts to look for another man that can be bothered to give her some pleasure too.
how big is it in inchs?? i heard once that women can only take 6 inchs ? im not sure if that helps

She may have 'vaginismus', a painful, involuntary spasm of the muscles that surround the entrance to the vagina.
It's unlikely you are too big (unless hung like an elephant)...the vagina is usually elastic (it has to cope with a baby's head for goodness sake). Tell your wife to see a doctor. It's a common condition.

in theory a penis can never be to big, i mean we get babies head out of it and they are much bigger. maybe your rushing into penetraction, make sure she is ready, relaxed and moist before you enter

what Gent said. Also yes you are big. If more than 4 inches goes inside you're hitting her cervix - kinda similar to someone hitting our nuts. If she was beating your nuts during sex how would you feel? Some positions are better than others cos they stretch or shorten the vaginal canal. Eg. doggy style shortens the canal so don't do it.
Have you tried positions where your legs are around hers and hers are closed? that way only the head goes right inside and rubs against the vaginal wall - nice for her and you. the rest of your penis is squeezed between her thighs and crotch - nice for you. since you're obviously not the best lover, it might be an idea for her to get an array of dildos in different sizes. Recap - try positions that lengthen the vagina - positions that stretch her abdomen - and positions where it doesn't all go inside.
