What are the effects of prepubescent masterbation?!

Question: I am a 15 year-old boy and have been masturbating since I was about 8 or 9 years old. I have yet to notice any signs of puberty and I was wondering if it may be because I have masturbated before hitting puberty. Can anyone tell me the effects of prepubescent masturbation and if I am at risk for anything?

I've seen boys under 5 masturbate - they can't get an adult sexual response, but it feels good anyway.

It's harmless. You haven't done yourself any damage. Someone in your class has to be the last one into puberty, and maybe it's you - that's normal. If you're concerned, though, though, you should talk to your doctor about maturation and where you stand.

Keep playing with it. You're not hurting yourself, and it's the safest kind of sex there is.

Masturbation has no side effects. Good or bad

There are no side effects of masturbating. Except for an occasionally sore penis. -Fisher

the side effects are, very awesome feelings fallowed by the want to go to sleep... in other words your perfectly fine, all boys develop at different rates, so just go with the flow and enjoy your body.

If you have no signs of puberty, no pubes, voice high, etc, you need to see an endocrinologist, and soon. Maybe not tomorrow, but within the next couple of months. And your if your doc never said anything to you [or your folks, which they might not have shared with you], then sue the quack.
You will probably get a hormone shot to kickstart your pubescence.

I am confident that prepubertal masturbation did nothing to cause this [see www.jackinworld.com], but it might possibly be useful information to the endocrinologist, in that it says you had some testosterone circulating, and perhaps earlier than usual.
