if they gain or lose weight too quickly then its stretchmarks
if they drink beer in large swigs rather than sips then the gas in the beer gives them beer bellies

Yeah my partner has stretch marks were he grew quickly when he was in his teens. Men also inevitably get beer bellies too, all of them i think!!
Men do get stretch marks, stretch marks occur thorugh either gaining weight rapidly or losing it rapidly, so yes men can get them too. And beer bellies but that is dependent on how much they drink and their body type.

embarrassing enough as i found it... yes.. i did when i was growing up.
unfortunately i grew too quickly between the ages of about 12-15.. i grew about 8 or 9 inches in height... but my skin couldn't keep up.

Alcohol has the ability to change testosterone into oestrogen, so excess alcohol causes fat to be deposited in the traditional 'female' regions, around the stomach and breasts (causing man boobs). It this happens quite rapidly then stretchmarks occur too.
The only way a man would get stretch marks was if he stopped drinking and lost weight.
So, no, he wouldn`t get them.

The high carbs in the beer increases fat levels, and fat is good at storing water.
Alcohol "dehydrates" you by helping the fat absort the water in your body.

Yes, men get stretch marks, just not as often because men have thicker,and apparently stronger skin.

What's this about beer bellies? In guys stretch marks are more often caused by rapid growth during puberty. I have some on my legs just below my butt and a few more on my lower back.

My boyfriend is really skinny and always has been but he has stretch marks on the outside of his legs near his butt... I'm assuming it's because he's 6'4 and had a huge growth spurt or something.
