I worked out my abs last night in my daily routine but really worked them?!

Question: After i had finished the exercise i really felt it but it wasn't until i woke the next day when i felt it was hard to sit up from the pain in my abs was it because i had worked them really well?

i wouldn't say worked you worked then well but to hard
apparently your abs take longer to expel acids built up from working out so just take it easy for a few days but keep your abs moving

yes, im sure in the next couple days you will feel it in your ribs too

I presume from your question that you don't exercise your abs frequently ?
Pain the next day in any muscle group is normally because the body is not used to working that muscle group. It can surely be the sign of a good workout and most probably is. However, the pain should subside during the day or after a good nights sleep. If it is still bad in a couple of days time, it could be that you have overworked them and may be worth getting checked out by a physiotherapist.
I would be surprised if it is the latter as it is highly uncommon, unless you have exercised EXTREMELY hard.
