Good question. Seems it may go to a difference in the male and female brain. Cannot add much to these answers except to say that some of it is beautiful especially the women in Andrew Blake films. A natural naked young female body (and even the young male body) is beautiful. This is not to say the women do not appreciate beauty. But for men sex is more of an activity; we have to perform. A a performance sex is subject to being filmed in full color and action. But it seems that sex for women is more of an internal experience, emotional waves and surges. These feelings are not subject to being filmed and often poorly portrayed in pom files. Another way of putting it is that actions stories do a lot better as films than psychological dramas which try to portray the emotions and feelings of the actors through external actions. Language as in novels do a better job on interior emotions and ideas than films it seems. Some of the artsy films try to portray it as in the Piano and the like. But in the end they escape visual depiction. So the films or picture is likely to leave a woman with perhaps and exciting image but one that is cold and devoid of emotion and feeling.
