The old song goes: "how do you know if he loves you, it's in his kiss." I agree with most answers, it seems your man loves you: he says so, he spends his time with you, and holds you out in public as his mate.
These are some of the questions I have: Does he see you as the mother of his children? Is he willing to be a true financial partner with you and share his all of his money with you? Is he willing to try to be sexually and romantically faithful to you as you need? Is he trying to respect your mind and spirit? I assume you two are not married: so if he bought a home would he put it in both names or just his name? Does he want to grow old with you?
It seems that "love" has at least two dimensions: one is right now or in the present and can be addressed by some of the of the points you make in your question such as what he says today and the time he is spending with you; but another aspect looks toward the long run. As a Carol King song goes, "Will you still love me tomorrow? Or is this just a moment's pleasure?" None of us can know where we will be a decade down the road. But you can ask, where does he want to be? Hopefully, he says it is with you. And that he will try to do all that he can to make sure his love for you continues down the hallways of time. At the extreme, you can say whether he really loves you may not be really known in the end until the story of your lives end. I truly hope that his story and your story together have a long and happy, deeply satisfying ending.
