How long untill i see results?!?! Working out everyday?!?!


Question: Ive been working out 5 days a week. Here is what i do

-30 minutes of intense cardio 5 days a week
-Every day i do intense ab workouts (5 days a week)
-Every second day i do Weights for my arms and back, pushups, squatts, lunges, and i do sevreal reps.

I just started doing this a Month ago, I have already noticed a SIGNIFICANT increase in how toned my arms and legs are..

I normally dont need to work out but i want to get toned for summer....

How long till i see results on my stomach and face and whatnot?!?! I heard that stomach is the last place you loose weight?

I kno this is mens health but i know all men are workout gurus so im asking it here....

Great determination! BUT......lets see where to start. Abs....are built with 75% diet the rest with exercise. Start with eating low fat stuff, stay away from starches and basically everything white(bread, sugar, salt, pasta, rice). Eat lots of fruits and veggies and meats that are high in protein. In the gym limit your abs to no more than three times a week( overtraining is going to catch up to you soon and you will hit a wall that is going to discourage you really bad). Try this....three sets of weighted(say a 25lb plate on your chest) declined situps. If you do more than 16 reps up the weight to 30 next time if less than 16(say 12) next time strive for more than 12. Three sets of reverse crunches(cable machine with a rope handle where you kneel down and hold the rope on both sides of your head and pull you head towards the floor, just google reverse crunch for a youtube of it.) you are shooting for sets of 12, again if you do more than 12 up the weight. Lastly 2 sets of hanging knee raises to failure. I would highly recommend that you give your abs a couple of days rest in between to recover. Cardio also plays a big part in the abs as it is the best way to trim the fat. I prefer running outside, but whatever. I set a time, say thirty minutes and run it to set a distance and thereafter try to better that time the next training day. Run every other day. The biggest factor is giving your body time to rest, I generally, other than my abs, only work each muscle group once a week. Good luck.

u r a smart one to do that kind of workout and be a chick.
u'v got it going but as long as u keep working at it u should
see the difference and fell it in 5 to six weeks. I do alot more
weight traing then cardiovascular. i see intense results on my
shulder mucles

Ab workouts will define and rip your stomach nicely, but it won't burn the layer of fat on your belly. Kick your cardio up to 45 min per day to help burn that excess fat.
