im 6-3 275 and bench 465lb gives you something to lookforward to hope you start pumpin that iron

good luch and great start thats how i did it you can do anything if you put your mind to it

at 14 i benched about 130 10 times

that's about right. you could probably push up about 10lbs more and have it be acceptable for strength training, but you're young, the strength will come. just make sure you run or something as well as lift.

you should be able to do about 3/4 of your body weight standard repetition without problems. it's not a number thing, it has to do with your body weight more than anything.

Most kids your age shouldn't be benching much. It will hurt your growth. If you're not concerned about that, there are charts online that can help you determine how much you should be lifting.

I wouldn't worry about it if your just starting lifting, also, don't try to "outdo" other people, you'll end up hurting yourself...just work with it, you'll get stronger...85 really isn't much though...

85 pounds?
thats not bad
try an get up to your weight limit
thats the limit for someone your age
and it whould be a high limit
