If it's deep you need stitches! Don't tell what happened, just say you were getting out of the shower and bumped into the edge of a metal cabinet or something! Of course you can tell the doctor/nurse the truth, they will keep it confidential.

I would go to the hospital if it bleeds a lot for more than 20 minutes or so. Or, you can take your chances and let it heal itself. Don't let your dad finding out have anything to do with your decision, since it will seem like such a petty need if you end up with a more serious problem due to inaction.

Well im 15 too and if that happend to me i would have done the same thing coming on this LOL. depends on how much its bleeding u might b overexaggerating but i dont know soo if its like pouring out put pressure on it n go but try not to do hard or it will come out alot faster! yeh make something up zipper is best thing to say though i dont know what else would have done that amount of damage lol.

Put vaseline on it, and apply slight pressure, it will quit bleeding unless you tore a vessel. If you absolutely can't stop bleeding then use the zipper excuse-got caught in your zipper and your dad needs to take you to the ER. If it is just oozing blood, no reason to see a doc, the vaseline will do the trick.
