6 inches in girth is really big by average..bigger sized condoms are ideal because you don't want to tear smaller ones..there is no such thing as too thick,thicker is better anyways.

A 6" girth does sound big!! Start with the regular size condoms, if they are too tight, try the large. But you don't want it to slip off either!
