I think my boyfriend is suffering from impotence?!

Question: I have been with my boyfriend for three years now and our sex life has always great and plentyfull.

However the last three months or so sex has been very infrequent, and he never seemes to initiate anymore. I asked him a few times but he just said he was tired or that he was stressed out.

I was starting to think he didnt fancy me anymore or something but lsat night we were doing some foreplay and he was really hard, however when he went to go inside me he went soft.

He broke down and told me that this keeps on happening to him and that he was so embarrased and ashamed about it it that he was avoiding sex. He said that he had been too adhamed to tell me and was hoping it would just sort itself out.

I really love the guy and I am in it for him not the sex. He is really stressed out with college at the moment and sometimes cant sleep from the stress. Could this be a cause? Also he has been smoking because oif the stress. Could this have an affect?

Has anyone experienced thi

It can definitely happen when guys are really run down. Maybe start giving him a regular massage before bed. He might fall asleep the first few times, but as he relaxes over time you will find he is more responsive and can last the distance.

Smoking won't be helping. Tell him if he must smoke to try damiana, a herb that relaxes the nervous system and boosts the libido. If he smokes pot, that is almost certainly the reason.

Basically you need to focus on his main needs - good food, enough water, quality rest/sleep (this is where a relaxation massage and herbal teas if he will drink them, come in), exercise, getting out into the sunshine and fresh air. Once he gets these into balance, the secondaries (like libido) will pick up on their own.

Good luck

Most often it is insecurity. It happens for males, when they think to much during intercouse about why they sometimes get soft.
Force him to think about you during the sex. Also, good rest and reduce of stress surely helps... If not, there is always doctors and/or blue pill.

Insecurity, smoking,Drinking and most definetly stress are all factors that have a negative influence on your libido it's a common thing. next time when you guys try it make sure he feels comfortable (make sure he has nothing to feel insecureabout) and releived and completely away from things like stress, it should be alright. If not than there is a big possibility your boyfriend suffers from erectile dysfunction. but don't be too worried, it happens more often..

Maybe just take a break from sex for awhile and just go out together and have a good time. Keep his mind off sex for awhile. Maybe he has alot on his mind. Just be there for him and hopefully when you guys do have sex again when his mind clears up, things should be all good. good luck
