Question: Ok, if a man is 38 years old and smokes like a freight train for pretty much his whole life, what effect does smoking have on his sperm? Will it effect his ability to have kids?

Yes, smoking over a long period reduces sperm production and motility. It rarely makes a man infertile, but it does reduce his ability to father a child. Because of the damage to the capillaries, it also reduces the strength of his erections.

Well it is not good for sperm.

In the UK it says on packets, "Smoking decreases your sperm count" so i guess it does, yes.

bad!

it is suppose to but i know my hubbys is fine and hes been a smoker for 17 years.
