the most uncomfortable moment was the nurse shaving me. they use a local, just a small pin prick, nothing really, then you can't feel anything. it only took minutes. then you go home, ice yourself and do nothing. (when they say nothing they mean nothing) moving around can cause swelling and pain, which i was stupid and moved too much. had some bruising and swelling as the result, but nothing too bad. i think i waited about a week to have sex, went easy the first few times and continued using protection the first few times. then took a sample in and i was sterile. at first i was a little tender, and my orgasms werent quiet as intense, but in time that all went away. in the end you really can't tell any difference.

its fast and you go home right after.

It's in, needle, snip then home.
It's a bit tender for a couple of days then all is back to normal.

anesthesia on..snip snip. wake up and your home. and no more babies.
my room mates made vicious jokes about me after i had the procedure. so i had it reversed.
I've had this done and reversed 3 times because I just couldn't seem to make up my mind.

they cut the vas deferens above your penis it's a small cut under local anaesthetic and you go home after you may feel a little discomfort for a week or two but nothing major

Can be performed under local aneasthetic in a day surgery. The whole procedure takes about 20 minutes and you can pay the bill and walk out of there. You should rest, knees up in bed for 3 days to avoid bruising and further discomfort.

The doctor might inject some morphine and then local aneasthetic, make a small incision in your scrotum, extract both vas deferens cords, cut them and then tie off the loose ends, poke them back through the incision to remain in your scrotum, and then stitch you back up again.

I suggest general anaesthetic if you are a wimp.

performed in a clinic with local anaesthetic you will be home very soon after-just a few days to recover after 6 weeks you send seman samples in to make sure there is no sperm left

All they do is cut your vas tubes so that no sperm can mix with your semen.

It was nothing. It was done at a clinic with local anesthetic. It took only 15 min and I drove myself home (after stopping at a drugstore, and the movie rental). I did it on a Friday, and was back to work on Monday. I was 100% be the next weekend.

I have no scar. There is no detectable change in my body. It was the best thing I ever did. Twenty years later, I am still happy with it. I had it done when I was 21.

Let me caution you. The doctor will give you specific instructions (you are not to lift anything, ride a horse, motorcycle, etc for a week....bla bla bla...) Follow them exactly.

It's very simple. An outpatient procedure. You'll have to avoid exercise for a few days, and keep the area cooled with ice/cold pack for a day. Recovery time is a few days to weeks.

After that, no-one including you will be aware it was done. Nothing looks or works differently.

Vsectomy surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Indian Med Guru Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Indian Med Guru Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps
