White bump on penis?!
Question: About 5-6 weeks ago, a small hard white bump appeared on the side of my penis. At first is did not hurt or itch at all. I got tired of it and attempted to lance it thinking that it would drain. It did not. This happened about 3 weeks ago. Over the last couple of days, it gets irritated when pressure is put on it.
As long as I can remember, I have had similar white bumps on my scrotum and base of my penis. I liken them to chicken skin bumps. I believe it is one of these bumps that has grown.
Has anyone else here experienced anything like this before?

I assume you're talking about Fordyce's Spot. Check it out at wikipedia, see if the pictures match. Everyone's got 'em.
Edit: reread your post and thought I should edit. These are sebaceous glands, which means things can go wrong... they're your sweat/oil glands. But they usually sort themselves out. Poking it is probably what made the situation worse. I'd say you should wait it out for a few more weeks, don't take an antiinflamatory (at least for the first few days) and put some antibacterial ointment on it to prevent infection. Or if it bothers you too much go see a dermatologist... or a general practitioner may be able to help.

Honestly the only white bumps I have ever heard of is HPV or warts. I no this is not what you want to hear so for your sake I hope it is something else.

could be an std such as herpes but then again it could just be some skin bumps, my advised have it check by a doctor just to make sure...
