Can stress effect morning and night time erections?!

Question: I've been under a lot of stress for the past week or so, but I've heard that morning and night time erections are there regardless of stress, and if they're not, then its medical. I wake up several times in the night and morning with a completely flaccid penis. Or can stress really effect these type of erections? I'm especially scared because I've been stressed out about a possible spinal injury and I've been going to the toilet a lot to urinate when I don't need to. The scary thing is, erectile dysfunction and bladder control is both related to stress and spinal damage, needless to say which one I prefer, I'm too scared to even stop being stressed! The scary thing is now, I read on a med website, that if you're still getting morning and night time erections then you're fine, but if not, you have a med condition. I used to have these erections before, so is this false, can I lose these types of erections under stress? Please don't just say yes unless you really know or can reference.

. yes.
Erections are caused by chemicals. Stress can reduce those chemicals.
Things should return to normal in a few weeks.

For the sake of anything divine. Go to a doctor. Questions like these are very serious -- don't be scared and sit home -- go get help.

Kind thoughts,
