Question: Okay, I'm 16 and I had a 5 incher, I followed a course (that I really shouldn't have looked up on the net) but gained several inches and am now 7-8 inch long, and a tape measure does 5 1/2 inch around (girth). Quite proud of getting this far. Question is - is it any good? Does it really matter? Serious.

i honestly dont mind, my ex was only just scraping 5 inches and i didnt care...its kinda awkward if it is as big as yours...plus how did u gain that much length? id like to know

You used that same course, huh? I've been using it about a year now and all i have to say is wow. it's not even fair anymore because girls can see it when they look just above my kneecap. i'm trying to figure out how much bigger i want to go because its starting to take on a mind of its own.

In closing, you really shouldn't be using product to increase the size of your penis, there are a lot of health concerns/issues down the road. Some products can cause injury to the blood flow and/or prostate, which can stop you from being able to become erect.
Another issue, at 16yo your probably not done growing (yes even down there). Females start puberty two to three years before males, so some men don't even get done with puberty until they're 19yo. Taking some of the penis enlargement products can also cause problems in natural development.
At your age it seems it's all about penis size and who is "the man." Even as you move further into adulthood you'll still find yourself at the center of such questions. Keep this statement in mind "it's not the size that matters, but how you use it." Remember, treat women with respect and focus on equal sharing in intimacy. Always, always, always use a condom to! You'll be more of a man for this then anything else.
