Why do some men loose sexual interest in their long term partner?!
Question: I think its insensitive and sad!
A woman just answered another question of mine saying that her husband hasn't had sex with her for two years!!! How do you men explain this?
A few friends of mine also said that after they moved in with their boyfriends sex went from every day to once a month.

I feel two-twisted on this subject.
I think the main reason(s) men lose sexual interest in for various reasons obviously.
Say,after some time together, you get in that "comfort" zone, or after marriage.
Be careful,cuz "letting yourself go" so to speak is the number one reason men lose interest. Letting yourself go by means of not caring much anymore what you look like when you first men the guy. Gaining weight, not wearing your make-up as much, not spicing it up the bedroom and coming up with innovative ways to keep the man interested are just a few ways the guy will most likely lose interest.
Sometimes we men also get really caught up in our careers, that could be another reason.
Or perhaps she isn't giving him as much attention as she once did. Her husband hasn't had sex with her for 2 years? damn! It's either cuz she let herself go physically or just got boring in the sack!
Either that or they just flat out shouldn't be married anymore....Unless their like 70!
On the dark side:
I feel as humans ,we are all animals. Meaning there we're not made for just one "lifetime" partner. I know many of you may not want to hear this, but strangely enough I think it's true...
I mean, look around you for evidence first of all. Divorce is at it's all time highest.
I love the idea of monogamy and so does many other guys and girls. But eventually that idea becomes reality.
No one likes to feel caged in a relationship. In the beginning it may be fine but eventually you realize what you really got yourself into.
Oh and temptation! There's plenty of that everywhere!
If that woman's husband hasn't had sex with her in 2 years then there's a 99% chance he's getting his rocks off elsewhere.
Happy sexual monogamous relationships can happen, but they require a lot of energy, persistence, coming up with new ideas, NOT letting yourself go and always doing your best to look your most appealing.
Everything in life dies. Sadly enough, but yeh.
That's why we should just enjoy each day fully, enjoy the relationship your in right now, cuz it won't last forever. Enjoy your pets, your family and everything that is in the "now" , cuz that's all we can do after all.
And when something isn't working out and it's obvious, move on and find something that does!
It isn't just men that lose interest, it's women too. I guess we're all insensitive and sad, huh?
Truthfully, it's not because they want other people. I believe we take our significant others for granted and because "it's always there" we don't jump on every second to consummate the relationship.
Don't blame just men, women can ignore a man and even cheat on one just as well as men can.

If it ain't new it's through. When you first start out it is really fun and you are full of lust. As time goes on the same thing gets boring and old. This is why men stop being interested in their wives. you have to break up the same old routine. it does not have to be anything really crazy but something that you 2 have not done before. could be phone sex, could be just doing it somewhere different in the house. maybe role-playing. ask him whats up and let him know you want to put that spark back in the relationship.

because sex with a person over and over and over for months and just get old i mean its like watching the same movie you have seen atleast 20 times you know how boring that is?? its not just men i mean alot of women cheat on their husbands because of no interest but dont get me wrong men do it 2.
well i think thats what you guys as youngsters get for thinking that marriage is all about sex in the first place lol! you will learn more about each other and know that it is more about emotions and other things and i don't think that the lady and her husband are bad people for not doing anything SEX is not the answer for anything! it is a big part of some relationships but others don't have to do anything sexual to be pleased! and the women didn't say they didn't play around or do things did she lol! she just meant as in sex as in him entering her..... that is sex and that isn't the only thing they might do other things lol! i mean she might be a wild women and like toys and wild things who knows lol!! so as someone who has been with the same person and only the same person without cheating in any form i say it is still good but it doesn't have to happen at all to make me love him more ! or less for that matter! it isn't something you think allot about when your with someone for a long time lol! hope i helped you out! good question as well thx peace out jason!!
