Yes they are. I received a Gillette Fusion razor in the mail last year. It is by far the best razor I have ever used. It has 5 blades and vibrates. The replacement blades are kind of expensive, that last a long time. I use each blade about 3 months.
Your man will be very happy that you thought enough of him to get him one of these.

Mach 3 is okay, but the Gillette Fusion is tonnes better, more blades, more comfort, less friction. It rocks. Definitely the best razor.
