Muscular abs on a girl, attractive?!


Question: I'm a girl, 16, 102lbs, 5`4.
I've been jogging on a treadmill almost everyday for about a month.
I'm jogging about 3.5- 4mph to loose body/belly fat,
so my abs can show.
Aside from jogging on the treadmill,
I'm also doing 100 bicycle crunches a day.
and 75 regular ones.
When should I get SOME results at all?
On the 15th of this month, it'd make 1 month and still no noticeable results..
I've been drinking only water & 1% milk,
NO soda, no junk food.
Am i doing something wrong?

in order to lose fat..
when i get off the treadmill should my abs /legs be sore?
cuz I've been going on the treadmill, just to burn calories..
thinking i didn't have to be sore to lose fat.

Your stomach is fine as is. It's not out of shape but it's not crazy fit like with a 6 pack, which is a good thing. Most guys don't want to be with a girl who's more muscular than they are. ;)

As for your workouts, I'd recommend interval training during your runs. Do you normal jog for 10 minutes and then increase the speed on the treadmill to a fast run/sprint and leave it on for 15 seconds, then drop it back down to your jog speed for a minute and 45 seconds. Then sprint again for 15 seconds and then jog again for a minute and 45 seconds. Once your body is used to it, kick it up to 30 seconds sprinting, and a minute and a half resting. Then 45 seconds sprinting, minute and 15 jogging until you can do one minute of each. With interval training, you don't have to run as long or as far but because you're keeping your body guessing, it kicks your body into overtime and it burns more calories once you stop running (to get your body back to normal function) so you'll lose more calories/fat throughout the day than when you just jog for a long time.

Girls should NOT have six pack abs...

you don't have to be sore to lose weight. it can be a good sign that progress is being made. maybe you could jog a little faster/longer. or if an option on your treadmill, uphill. i just recently lost my abs, and want to get them back, but need to find some motivation. uhh oh.

aswell as doing running, try doing sit ups every day to improve ur stomach muscles beacause jst losing weight wont show ur muscles u have to build ur muscles up aswell. i suggest sit ups. hope its helpful.

Go on youtube, search 8 Minute Abs ... I swear it works after one month you will notice a huge difference, check it out once.. its corny, and very 90's, but works great
