My boyfriends left knee is hurt, how can i make it better?!


Question: He is a soccer player and has been playing since he was little. on sunday, he kisked the ball really hard and i guess the knee misadjusted itself from the joint. he doesnt feel pain ecxept for when he flexes and when he puts too much force with his leg. any sports people or chiropractics to give some helpful home made remedies?

Well Definitely put ice on it if there is any inflammation. Assuming there is inflammation you'll want to give him a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug such as Naproxen (Aleve) or Ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin).

I'm assuming you've seen a doctor and are just waiting for info form him/her? If not then definitely see a doctor so the doctor can give you actual medical advice.

Also don't follow bad advice and have your boyfriend just tough it out. Tendon/Ligament injuries can turn into permanent (irreversible) damage if you act like an idiot and try to "play through" them.

Pain is your bodies primary warning signal that something is not right.

I've done this to my knee, it doesn't hurt unless I do heavy exercise or kneel down on it. I went to my doctor when it first happened and got some physio, but after 4 years its still not rully fixed. As long as I wear a knee support bandage when I do exercise its fine. So get your boyfriend to a sports physio or sports doctor and get him to buy a knee support. If it continues to cause him pain to get it checked out again.Lots of rest will help and lavender oil rubbed into it is said to help too.

buy some icy hot and rub it on and tell him to start actin like a man. Motivate him to stope being sucha wimp. It really does work for males.
