If what he sicks up is like coffee grounds then it's almost definitely a stomach ulcer and he should seek medical attention straight away as this can be very serious if left untreated.

However since you mention griping stomach pains lover down this could be indicative of a number of things some serious, others not so serious.

There is a possibility (particularly if he's sick after eating fatty/ greasy foods) that he has a gall bladder or pancreatic problem. Does he look yellow at all and does the vomit contain lots af yellow bile? Again either of these problems can become serious and he should have them checked.

Alternatively, given the griping pains, does he have irritable bowel like symptoms, irrgular bowel movements, alternating between, almost constipation to the runs. This could be plain irritable bowel, an dashed inconvenience but not life threatening, or Inflammatory bowel disease (colitis/crohns). Again worth checking out.

Is the sickness associated with some difficulty swallowing? This indicates an upper GI problem like achalasia. Again needs checking out.

Finally- and not flippantly- not just drink but many drugs (particularly opiates) are asscociated with these sort of problems, another good reason to stop if this might be the case.

People (men) often don't got to the doctor because they're scared that there might be something really serious wrong. And often it turns out that they're wrong. Get him to go and discuss it, before it does get serious, if this is his worry.

I think it's none of your business. He doesn't want to see a doctor (which is stupid, but that's his choice) so you just have to let him get on with it. If it bothers you, drop him.

it could be a stomach ulcer, he should go to the docs as its just not something that will go away on its own!

He should get it checked out. It's not normal and throwing up regularly like that is a sign something isn't right.

it might just be a common stomach flu or just something he ate.

what else could it be? its not like its everyday . . .
