No it isn't gay to show affection to another person of whatever sex they are. I am gay and many of my heterosexual friends hug me and even kiss me on greeting. Yes even in public but thats because I am well known in my country and my sexuality is not a matter of interest. The wearing of jewelery by men? well what about some of your American hero's who wore a feather in their hat. or a particular type of gun belt as just two examples. Most male animals in nature are prettier than the females. but I guess you already know that there are gay animals as well. Affection one person for another is a healthy and necessary part of human relations . If you are lucky enough to have a few gay mates ask your question of them. But if you are fishing for how to find out if a friend is gay then just go quietly and in a friendly and respectful way to ask him. ROBERTO.

if you do those things it doesn't make you gay. Do what you feel like doing and be who you are. And be comfortable with your sexuality, no matter what someone says it can't change you to be gay straight or bi. Bottom line is be yourself.

1) No, bracelets can mean all kinds of things. For example, medical bracelets are worn by men. Men can wear friendship bracelets, too.
2) No, men even greet each other by kissing on the cheek in other countries and this is not considered "gay". In some other cultures men even wear makeup and this is not "gay".

2. No. Believe it or not, you're allowed to have physical contact with a guy and not be gay. Putting your arm around his shoulder is fine. Anything more and people may start to wonder though.
Relax dude. If you're this self-conscious about being even remotely perceived as gay, maybe you need to do a little bit of soul searching. If you're fully comfortable with yourself and your heterosexuality, it's not gonna matter what you wear or how you show affection for your guy friends.
